Hey Jeff, thanks!
As you and your "Bro" (what's his name, I'm just terrible with names? ;) who both "co-founded" Silicon Investor way back when, if my memory serves (I'm really lousy with history too), I am incredibly honored that you drop in on the GNET thread every once in a while. And to get a post from you personally really makes my day! Heck, my wife had just called down to say "Dinner's ready dear," but I said, "Can we wait a minute dear. I just got a post from Jeff Dryer himself." This SI stuff is so addicting, as you know.
I knew you and your Bro were incredibly smart. However, when you posted the following (shortly after I had joined SI) is when I first realized how unbelievably "brilliant" you really are : Message 10356437
BTW, I really appreciate the "frankness" and honestly of your many posted contributions to SI. All of us here on SI (and this GNET thread, especially) feel blessed that you've stuck around (after selling your company to Russell, John, and Co.).
Please keep up the great work you've been doing! Gotta go. We're making Christmas cookies (after dinner) tonight.
Roger
PS. Tell Russ, I wouldn't be surprised if Mark Haines slipped behind him this morning and pulled his right shirt collar out, just before the CNBC interview. But "short" sellers are known to do stuff like that on occasion. I think Freud called it "Profit Envy." :))) |
