I feel quite comfortable now saying Suzanne was killed in a car. We have both circumstantial (the distance/time factor, that she said she was tired, had just run a pizza party, it was 9:30 or so at night, etc.) and the physical (body position near the road consistent with being pushed/pulled out of a car, lack of blood at the scene, etc.)
I now ask everyone to try and imagine how possible it might be for a driver of a car to surprise a passenger to the extent they can pull a knife out from somewhere (pocket, glove compartment, under the seat, etc.), raise it over their head, lunge, and stab them over and over again-- all without getting any apparent form of resistance?
Now, here's an interesting angle to consider. If we rule out the single person in the car theory, meaning there were perhaps two, three, or four people present, doesn't it make it far far more likely Suzanne did not know these people? I mean, do we really think an entire group of friends did her in and have kept quiet about it?
Does this sound logical to you?
