InfoCast Ready to Roll Out its VCC Solution......here is several interesting and eye-opening segments from that report...
At the same time, InfoCast is adjudged to have the absolute state-of-the-art VCC technology in the entire field. Most other so-called "virtual" call agent technologies are still based on antiquated analog voice capabilities and switching equipment, and are not web-enabled.
Uniquely, InfoCast's VCC technology is digital and provides a total integrated voice-and-data solution, accommodating integrated voice and web-based on-screen traffic. That is highly important, because studies show that the typical online consumer spends more than double the amounts per call when two-way voice and data communication is available, a key value-advantage of the InfoCast VCC solution. This proprietary technology also offers valuable call center personnel management and control features not found elsewhere, plus complete training and support facilities to call centers.
An Exciting Look Ahead
Sums up Jim Leech, InfoCast's president and CEO: "This test demonstrates how InfoCast can offer enterprises of all sizes a complete call center infrastructure on demand. With InfoCast's VCC solution, customer service representatives can be located centrally in a company's facilities, distributed throughout several company locations, or work from their homes. And InfoCast offers companies a pay-per-use alternative to bearing the full capital cost of expensive, location-bound call center hardware."
Leech also told current IFCC shareholders on Dec. 6 that the company plans on finalizing key cooperative marketing arrangements for its VCC technology solutions, and to roll it out industrywide in the next quarter.
"We have passed a critical benchmark in the rollout of our Virtual Call Center (VCC) solution," he said. "Our vision of offering call center infrastructure-on-demand is now a customer-tested reality. InfoCast's VCC solution now offers customers a pay-per-transaction alternative to traditional, expensive, location-bound call center technology. Replacing large call centers staffed by people sitting in cubicles on rigid time schedules with people who are available to work from their homes on an as-needed basis is no longer just an idea - it is now a matter of implementation. As the only Application Service Provider (ASP) offering VCC solutions, InfoCast can assume First Mover status in this exciting new field."
The emerging strength of the overall ASP sector is nowhere better remarked upon than in a July 21 front-page Wall Street Journal article. (To review the entire piece, which is titled "Software Is Becoming an Online Service," consult the Journal's website at <A HREF="http://wsi.com">http://wsi.com.</A>)
As an ASP, InfoCast should be a key component of any investor portfolio for those who are alert to its vibrant potentials as a dynamic "first mover" in the call center ASP sector, as well as in other vertical markets.
InfoCast is planning an early transition to the NASDAQ SmallCap Market. It presently trades on the OTC BB under the symbol IFCC, and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (symbol IFB). On Dec. 10, the SEC declared the company's Form 10 Registration Statement effective. The company has about 24 million shares outstanding. The stock has recently been in the $8/share range. |
