The other Daniel answered your second question. As to your first, the volatility will be great for traders, and not necessarily a bad thing for the longs as long as the trend line is up. Plus, there will be two series of options trading once an ex-distribution date is announced, since some options will begin trading sans Palm rights, including some that are already outstanding. I used to deal with this frequently when I owned SFE, and it can be pretty damn confusing at times. BTW, I'm damn cheerful <g> but somewhat war hardened when it comes to this stock. I've got shares with a cost basis anywhere from $3.65 to $38.50. It's nice to finally have 'em all in the black again.
