Ultimatly the price is a function of revenue. Will Applix execute? Of all the Linux stocks, to me applix has the best shot at major growth because of the effects of Linux in the the market place. That is to say of the companies that I follow and understand, I like Applix best. Their may be other opportunities, but I don't know of them. My money ?? Well I still hold 20k or so shares and will up again to 25 to 30k as price and my mood move. So from some posts of mine on the yahoo.... Went to the bazzaar and spent a some time with the applix dudes. Saw the palm pilot tranfer data records betwix Linux and the palm. Also go a look see at ...... look up in the sky it's a bird, it's a plane it's ..... Faster than a speeding bulet, More powerful than a locomotive, Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound........ It's Makey the applixware penguin. Makey is makin it happen with a new cooooolllll look for applixware 5.0 So as the nice guys at the applix booth at the bazzaar let me have my own little Makey..... Well I put this together to explain why applix is where it's at. watman.com Now 7 of the nine cdrom shown were purchased yesterday for 13 bucks total. Two of the cdrom's cost 180 bucks. Can you figure out which one's????? Also the applix dude are sharp and into EDAT and they told me about. igecko.com TRADING SOFTWARE FOR LINUX........ ============================================ I was asked of my impressions of the Bazaar and Applix. Well the bazaar was very small. I was disappointed. The only thing for me that was really useful was speaking with the aplx guys. I walked away with a better feel for what the palm is about and also the focus of the applix 5.0. I also go to see Real time streaming quotes based on igecho and applix. So yes I was pleased with what I learned about applix. Which is to say what I saw fit well within my vision or understanding of what I believe Applix to be and Applix's strengths. So it's all a question of execution or revenue. The foundation is there. Applix is mentioned now in the press each month probably more than in past years. Oh and of course I was able to get my seven Linux sistributions for 13 bucks and my rare collectors Makey. Makey is the original's pet name. Their is only one original Makey and she is mine. Oh yeah, I also met the Applix dude who coined the phrase, Applix open source shelf is the Visual Basic of Linux. Tom Watson tosiwmee
