PeopleSoft to Resell NEON Products Worldwide
NEON Enables Greater Speed and Value for PeopleSoft Implementations
DENVER and PLEASANTON, Calif., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- PeopleSoft (Nasdaq: PSFT - news) and New Era of Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEON - news) today announced a resale agreement, under which NEON's Convoy/DM data conversion software becomes the preferred data conversion engine for PeopleSoft's implementations. ``Business conducted via the Web must proceed on Internet time in order to impact an organization's competitive position,' said Jay Fulcher, senior vice president of PeopleSoft, responsible for PeopleSoft Consulting. ``NEON's tools provide PeopleSoft customers with the ability to rapidly implement application modules that are most critical to their e-Business success first, and then roll out additional modules when appropriate -- without sacrificing the quality of implementation.'
PeopleSoft selected NEON's data migration product as the preferred integration tool through an extensive evaluation process. PeopleSoft will standardize on NEON Convoy/DM worldwide by deploying the product to customers in PeopleSoft's 30 implementation centers throughout North America, and by assisting customers on-site with PeopleSoft implementations. PeopleSoft will also resell the NEON product directly to customers for data conversion and ongoing data interfacing from PeopleSoft to other in-house applications.
The NEON Convoy/DM tools and methodologies assure implementation predictability as new application modules are rolled out. In more than 200 installations, NEON Convoy/DM has reduced the risk and time involved in bringing a PeopleSoft project on line. NEON Convoy/DM is the data migration component of NEON's Total Solution offerings. It can be used as a stand-alone product for data conversion and as a front-end for NEON e-Biz Integrator(TM) and NEON e-Biz 2000(TM). NEON Convoy/DM is fully compatible with NEON's complete line of integration products required in the e-Business marketplace.
