Look at it this way - I've had several vendors who used competitor's products running BENEATH the MSFT product. However, their MSFT agreements prevented them from mentioning that MSFT was inadequate for the job, and required they ONLY sell the benefits of MSFT goods.

In addition, when the "monopoly price" of the OS is calculated, many people claim MSFT hasn't exercised it. That's right, they haven't ON THE CONSUMER. They HAVE indirectly, by charging exorbitant license fees to vendors and other exclusive agreements. So, the VENDORS charge more, making MSFT LOOK like they aren't exercising monopoly prices. That's racketeering, in my book.
