CB, for the umpteenth time, I did not dispute any study about which you posted an abstract. I cautioned against relying on abstracts as I had spent the time and energy to go beyond some of the studies' abstracts and look at the methodology. You have already posted that you are not able to do this. I am and I have done it. My personal feeling aside--I abhor corporal punishment--the studies at which I looked had lousy statistical backing, so I do not feel comfortable using them--or any others whose sampling techniques I have not examined--as support for my own personal beliefs.
