Hi Bernard - I'd like to learn from Mark also. While indeed owning the parent [and shorting the child] was a traditional way of [value] investment, the growth model looks from a different vintage point, i.e., the investor wants every dollar to go into growth, or pure play, if you will, unfettered by other properties of the parent. It sounds screwy, but ZDZ, NT, IBI etc seem to outperform their respective parents, ZD, BCE and LTD, to name a few example. It is as though value-growth tension in a single entity.

Just my 2c

best, B
