Yes the Charles Schwab & Co. Chooses Applix iTM1. biz.yahoo.com news is very good. So here are some more of my yahoooooo posts. A response to ... but Schwab is not Linux iTM1. Is not probably Linux??? It does not matter if Linux or not. Linux is unix and Applix's value is in the OS agnostic compatibility of Applix products. But the marketing mind share of the Applix name because of Linux can be thought of as all publicity is good publicity. Getting the Applix name out for this little 10 million share company is the seed corn of sales and my friend revenue. The Schwab deal sayes the technology is ligitimate and mega scalable and the fact that it runs on Linux means lots of little companies can afford to try for little outlay. Even Dan K. could afford to set it up in his house and evaluate it. And some will also realise that iTM1 is mega scalable on Linux. Well let's just say extremely scalable. Now what is SGI doing for Linux I/O bandwidth? Real time data feeds? Is that I/O bandwitdth? The original. ======================================== Fun reply to my friend bron.
