E-bay has 130M outstanding shares; 73% of the 130M is owned by insiders. One of the insiders, Benchmark Cap. exercised 4,591,836 warrants for 4,591,836 ebay shares, at a cost of $.36 per warrant, on 1/12/99. Per SEC filing(424B3), dated 12/8/99, the above Benchmark Cap. was filing to "offer to the public" the above 13M shares.
