Here's a factoid on the BMW Z-8 in the The World is not Enough: The Z-8 used in the movie was NOT a BMW. The car was not yet in pre-production. Therefore, Eon Productions went to the BMW design facility and took molds of the prototype. They then bought a Cobra kit car frame and chassis and then attached the fiberglass panels made from the molds they took at BMW. What's really funny is that this hybrid is powered by, of all things, a chevy small block V-8. I don't think BMW wants this well known. Well Auric told you first. And Auric knows.
