Bigwave,

The situation is this, 1000 is still the limit it is just that the market makers can post an order size of 100 shares now and that is all they have to take. If a mm (Market Maker) shows the usual 1000 shares, and they get hit by a SOES order, they have 15 seconds to adjust their quotes. And so does every other mm. What I have seen is there are quite a few more SOES'ers and now I see the mm's sucking in infant SOES'ERS then getting out of the way and either dropping the price like a rock or rocket so the old 1/4 loss just is not going to cut it. You really have be more of a position trader now.

Additions welcome.

Tom
