I've been bullish since 1987... honestly, right now, I have difficulty seeing the equities moving very much higher from here unless the chart improves... what you posted about the relationship between the Euro and U.S. equities is insightful and very clear once the two charts are reviewed... your scenario would easily explain why the bonds are so weak... to attract buying of U.S. Dollars, but according to the U. S. Dollar chart, that doesn't appear likely.....

This chart is of the U.S. trade dollar weighted in proportion to the amount of trade with U.S. trade partners...
