I wonder how much the licesnses are worth in today's market? It is my opinion that the licenses are invaluable when taken in the context of all the parties working together. Nextel has privately offered as much as $6BB, but I would not blink if for some nutty reason a bidding war* broke out and as much as $10BB was ponied up by our group. Seriously this is HUGE for GBLX, QCOM, and many, many other companies. *It is also my belief that Nextel would not be allowed to obtain the licenses since they own other spectrum in many of the markets that NextWave holds. HOWEVER!They may try to force the bid up for our group.
