LOL - That was a good one !!!

I subscribe to a free E-mail service that covers the markets. This is what they had to say today for the general market :

* US equity markets ramped higher as institutional investors
aggressively loaded up on this year's big winners. The quarter/year-
end position shuffling known as "window dressing" is the fund
industry's way of going back to change its answers AFTER
being told the correct choices. The course of thought behind portfolio
polishing is that by buying all of the top performers for the period
and selling the laggards, mutual funds will present an attractive
year-end snap-shot of their holdings to shareholders.

* Given this phenomenon, it's not surprising to see more stellar growth
in the technology stocks while the financials continue to stumble.
The unstoppable-NASDAQ Composite powered 93.1 points higher to a new
record close at 3715.0. The DJIA traded lower for most of the session,
but the sellers eventually were overcome by the positive sentiment
sweeping the techs. The DJIA edged 19.6 points higher to 11,244.9.
