The age old adage is true though, stocks prices climb on rumor, fall on fact.
As for Netp, I don't see anything major for awhile. I think it will drift down into the $20's. Remember last quarter they barely made estimates, as I recall -.15/shr. It appears the street can tolerate a company lossing money so long as it's less than they expected. I wouldn't expect to see any major motion in Netp until Feb earnings announcements and then either good things will happen or bad. If they really do well against expectations they may well take off for a new trading band (not $100). If they miss expectations, forget it, this stock will be in the teens again. If they meet expectations, they'll likely just drift south some more. The shorter version is I think this will drift south trying to find support, I expect $25-$27 will be short term support. I think low $30's is the resistance. This until Feb then a new ball game. The problem is netp is the proverbial bride's maid, good looking company, nice market niche but lacks the glamour to attract the ivy league boys. Without making the obvious analogy, this company has to do something dramatic to get their attention. No feast, just some meat and potatos. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
