PLAINVIEW, N.Y., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- shopss.com, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AMII), the pioneering virtual shopping mall, today announced that its trading symbol was changed on December 15, 1999 from SHPS to ACII at the direction of the NASD. The Company was advised that the change in the symbol was to correct confusion in the market place relating to a reserve spilt which occurred in 1996. The Company intends to reapply for a new symbol to more accurately reflect the Company's proposed new name, shopss.com, Inc.
