When I was your age I was a McGovernick. I had a fondness for Shirley Chisolm as well. (And Jerry Rubin and Abbie Hoffman but ssshh, this is a conservative thread.) Rubin is now very conservative and Hoffman killed himself. I don't know why I bring that up, but it seems relevant.
