stephen, Re Bloomberg's: Intel is struggling to meet demand for microprocessors right now as more people buy personal computers to get on the Internet It sure would be nice to once again hear the magic words, "We're sold out for the quarter." I recall the last time that occurred there was a real upside earnings surprise. I refer to the jump to 4Q96 $1.91B net income from 3Q96's 1.312B. Presplit eps jumped to 1.07 from .74. Now if we get a nice jump in demand in January from those individuals and businesses that decided to wait until Y2K was past before ordering, we might have one fantastic 1Q00. Barry
