Did you watch Yardeni on CNBC today? They were polite to him. He said he still believes there will be a world wide recession because of Y-2K. I believe he said there was a 70% chance. One of the Talking heads said, "What about what the President had said? Kosky? Greenspan? CEO's? States? All the experts? He said who cares what they "said". He scoffed at what everyone is saying. He hopes he is wrong, but he thinks real problems will show up starting the first week in January. He does believe the economy will chug along after the problems of Y-2K are fixed. That could be 6 months to a year. Runner
