This is what upsets me. I don't want drugs 'cause I'm real conscious about what I give my body. But, I have no choice unless they can fix it. I hope they can fix it. I'm willing to travel anywhere to any doctor that can find the answer. It just doesn't make sense that I'm having this much trouble. I'm way too active mentally and physically for this.

I keep praying they do and I think we will find something.

I volunteer at the hospital that specializes in spine surgery. We are developing a program for people about to, going through and have had back surgery. Great program. I talk to the patients and answer any questions they have. They can call me anytime if they get scared or are in a lot of pain and need someone to talk to. One day though my appearance was counter productive because I was hurting and turning quite pale I was told. This scared some of the patients because they hope after surgery they don't ever hurt again. Since they know I've had surgery and I'm still in pain well, they get worried that it will happen to them and they won't be better. I felt bad. Now I try and time it on my good hours and I don't see patients if I'm hurting bad.

It's just a different way of life. All those things that come natural like walking aren't so natural anymore.
