Shane-

Good to hear from you, and I'm glad you were able to take advantage of the recent runup.

No, I did not take advantage of ITWO. I move very slowly and often miss some good ones. No regrets at this point, though. It's been a good year.

Buy very low & sell low: About a year ago I recommended Checkpoint Software Technologies (CHKP) on the value thread since it was selling at $27 with a P/E around 10. I was laughed off the stage at the time (PSR was close to 7). It dropped to the low teens but today is around $200. I sold at $45.

That's the way it goes. At least I made 50% in a few months.

I don't know what to make of DSTM. Buyout rumours abound on Yahoo. I have no opinion, except that I don't think Larry would sell out for under $25.

MRO market is huge, but I don't know if DSTM has the heft to play serious ball. If they sell the company, this will be why.

Not sure with DSTM if I should have a sell point or just hang on and hope for the best. I rode through the $27 top a couple years ago, so I'm a tad jaded (my current basis is $11). There is also a decent possiblity that DSTM could be a rocket over the next year. Just plain hard to tell if DSTM ecommerce is reality or pipe-dream.

Kind regards,
Wright

p.s. Merry Christmas to you and yours
(and all others out there in the land of S.I.)
