Qtera is NOT a competitor of JDSU. It is a system vendor and hence a potential customer of JDSU. Mr. Market seems to be confused about this having sold off JDSU and GLW/OAK over this Nortel acquisition. In fact, overall, the technology Qtera uses requires more (not less) optical components and hence is good for the component suppliers. Cheers, Lucas
