Greg: The market cap is the key to everything.

Think about the following events

-MSFT & QCOM form Wireless Knowledge
-QCOM & CSCO deliver HDR to US West
-Philips acquires VLSI
-INTC acquire DSP
-INTC introduces CDMA based mobile PC in Japan
-GBLX uses CDMA based iBridge as last mile solution for all their fiber piplelines

I cannot say enough about CDMA based Internet products. The thought of having a continuous connection to the Internet at 2.5 MBPS is unbelievable. The benefits of a digital connection to the Internet is finally being realized as HDR is ready for market.

As Gilder pointed out a long time ago, the DSL market is obsolete. All actions by the fiber and networking co's are moving to position themselves in the wireless space. Today's actions by GBLX confirm that CDMA will serve as one of the most important last mile solutions for fiber networks.

My new market cap target for QCOM is $200 billion which is almost a triple from here. That would be about $345 after the 4 for 1 split. Hopefully, we'll get a few more splits before that happens so my cost base gets under $1. I will retire when I can go to bed knowing that my money is doubling every time the Q goes up $1. That is a truly awsome compounded return scenario.
