there was a guy who went to some of the ascend stockholder meetings; who always posted an enormous amount of information; was on top of it all; then he moved to the cien thread stiltz1, I don't know if I was "on top of it all," hence you may not be thinking of me, but I did go to a Morgan Stanley conference in January 1998 and met with ASND's CEO Mory Ejibat and CFO. I got a lot of good information there about the upcoming push into ATM. Also used to post quite a few comparison charts (to other stocks in the sector), and some takeover theories. Another great ASND poster was Maverick. I posted to the CIEN thread right after it tanked (for the first time), and later to the XYLN thread (before the takeover). Ah, the good old days!
