Truth seeks nothing, and we are not capable of certifying Truth,. We seek it through the application of machines of thought called rationalism, reductionism, and determinism. We attempt to construct order and purpose from an existence which is both chaotic and meaningless. The machines have worked well when applied to the physical world where effects have causes, but at their limit we still find uncertainty and free will. Applications beyond the mere seeking of truth and the examination of the way reality is, to the shaping of what reality ought to be - leads inevitably to the fatal conceit... eh.
