ACEI SIGNS ALI FOR BOXING MATCH IN CHINA

ACEI SIGNS ALI FOR BOXING MATCH IN CHINA

SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec 17, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- -- American
Champion Entertainment (Nasdaq: ACEI) today announces the signing of
Laila Ali, the daughter of the legendary Muhammed Ali who was recently
named "Athlete of the Century" by USA Today, for a four-round bout at
ACE's upcoming April 22, 2000 boxing event to be held in Beijing,
China. Ali will be the first female professional boxer to compete in a
live event in front of potentially millions of Chinese sports fans.
Ali's record is 3-0 in her professional career, and has beaten all of
her opponents by knockouts. At age 21, standing 5'10", and weighing in
at 168 lbs., Ali is currently considered one of the finest female
boxers on the professional boxing circuit.

In making the announcement, George Chung, Chairman of ACE, states:
"Worldwide television deals are being negotiated, and major sponsors
for the event are being actively pursued. We anticipate this event to
have worldwide appeal, to both men and women due to the presence of
boxing champion Hector 'Macho' Camacho and Laila Ali, the boxing
world's hottest rising star. Not to sound too cliche, but this event
will be a knock out!" Major press conferences featuring Ali and
Camacho, together with their still-to-be-announced opponents, will
begin in early 2000.

"We are thrilled that Ms. Ali will be going to China on our boxing card,
" said Anthony Chan, CEO of ACE. "The Chinese audience has a great
appetite for international sports stars. Laila's father is
exceptionally well known and often regarded as a hero. Knowing that his
daughter continues his legacy will certainly be a draw for our
audience." ACE will be co-producing this event with their Chinese
partner Great Wall International Sports Media Company.
