Lori Toye is a housewife and mother of three children from Arizona who had visions of the coming of a polar shift. She and her husband have provided maps, tapes, lectures, and newsletters detailing her predictions.

"In the prophecy, it was stated that there would be three polar shifts and that they would occur only a few years apart. Excess water at the equator causes an imbalance in the rotation of the planet. And as the rising oceans cover the lands, this unbalanced weight causes other lands to sink. They say that the proportion of the land to water starts the shifting of these poles, which move at the north pole at a 90-degree angle. And the final shift shows the northern poles resting place in the waters near the south end of Baffin Island, and that's in Canada. It's about 2600 kilometers north of New York City."
"They also said that those shifts of the poles would correlate major earth changes that happen at this time. The first one being the impact of the meteor would be the first shift.
