Hi Dave,

You and Gale are at the top of the class, always asking great questions and improvement showing with every post. It really is a pleasure to see people you know who are gonna be great TAers stick around and continue with the group. Kudos!

Anyway, Dahl tests well long term and I guess DNS would be intermediate term, try 13,34 as well.

The problem with using a longer term indicator as a touchstone is that shorter term indicators will have to have that many more signals. Increased signals means more loosing trades. Loosing trades are not bad, they should be expected but my point was this. If Dahl is 4 - 0 over 18 months don't expect an indicator to test 15 - 0 over the same time period consistently over the same time. Trying to duplicate Dahl in the short term can lead to frustration, s.t. trades always have loosers.
