12/17 00:36 NOKIA <NOK1V.HE> SAYS HAS $250 MLN GSM NETWORK DEAL WITH TAIWAN KG TELECOM HELSINKI, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Finnish telecom equipment maker Nokia <NOK1V.HE> said on Friday it had signed a deal worth $250 million with Taiwan KG Telecom to expand its GSM 1800 services. "The contract includes the supply of a range of GSM equipment including Nokia mobile switching centres, home location registers, base station controllers and base stations," Nokia said in a statement. "With this agreement, the GSM equipment supplied by Nokia will now also cover the northern area of Taiwan, including the capital, Taipei," it said.
