Peter, Abby never saw a mania she didn't like...i don't know what S&P profit growth will be, but i do know that profits have grown at the top end of their historical range for a while now, and there's a cyclicality to the process, which suggests to me that these estimates more than likely will be ratcheted down even more. of course that's mere gut feel at the moment... hb
