Paul, I just came across something which is a good example of your point about these products being brought out all the time. Here is a listing in the Catalog of the Buyers Club of the Direct Aids Alternative Information Resources organization. Botanical Substances -- Combinations of Herbs/Chinese Herb Mixtures Clear Heat (Health Concerns). Each bottle, 90 or 336 tablets. Each 750 mg tablet contains isatis extract, oldenlandia, lonicera, prunella, andrographis, laminaria, viola, cordyceps and licorice. The one drawback to this company is that they do not state concentrations of these herbs in the mixture. Take three tablets 2-3 times per day between meals. Health Cncrns Clear Heat 750 mg x 336 (Chinese herbs) DAAIR Price: $27.70 If the bold print didn't take, note that this botanical includes andrographis and would appear to be very remiss in not even stating the concentrations of the various herbs. I would think the FDA is going to have a hard time banning Androvir and not products like this one of which there may be innumerable ones which contain some andrographis or various versions or offshoots of it.
