Bing Crosby?? Ye-e-e-ch! One of the banes of my childhood....No escaping him (or any of those other -- ugh -- crooners), with all those juke boxes everywhere. Once, my kids decided to tease my husband, whose one disciplinary rule was that no rock should be played in the house. So for Christmas Eve they bought a record of Bing Crosby singing Christmas carols, and put it on. My husband almost had apoplexy on the spot! "You take that off RIGHT NOW!!!" They thought he was kidding. He wasn't, and Bing Crosby landed in the garbage. Funny how tastes differ, isn't it? :-)
