Re compaq selling you a lemon-- Jannie, the lemon laws in California don't just apply to cars. They apply to any goods purchased primarily for personal, family or household purposes. You have to give them a chance to correct the correct the problems, but if it's a real problem and they can't fix it, you should be entitled to a refund and/or replacement. Just some thoughts. M
