Jim, there was a mention of France Telecom's "RadioComm2000" which has 10K subscribers now that are expected to convert to G* service. This was mentioned by BLS at last week's presentatation as well; he said that 1,000 handsets had been ordered by this org already.

I also thought the presentation was very good, though I detect some more slippage in the GW schedule. I was pleasantly surprised by the 500M$ cash/credit line balance, and pleased to hear some dates for the Russian and Chinese GWs.

However, I have the opinion that 300M$ in rev's will be tough to achieve, given the slow start and h/set production schedule. It will be interesting to see how fast the phones get from the mnfctr into revenue users' hands. For the next few months, they'll be feeding 40K/month handsets through 9-15 GWs. If they can sell phones at that rate with so few GWs (and several of them in not very good markets) we'll have a real validation of the G* BP. Personally, I suspect the phones will start to stack up a little until more GWs/regions are on line.

I thought Tony Navarra was very strong, open and articulate; I wonder how he figures in the BLS succession plan?
