Media bias vs. media ignorance:

I don't think the referenced story necessarily shows any bias on anyone's part, except the Intel flack (a mildly insulting technical word for a PR person) who wrote the press release which is quoted, probably mostly verbatim.

What's happening, expecially in electronic news on technical subjects, is that a company will make a press release, and it will be rebroadcast as if it were straight news. It's fairly easy to spot them, though, because there is almost always a contact given in the originating company's PR department. When you see that, apply a large grain of salt!

As you'll see if you look back at the Intel release in question....
