Does anyone feel the way I do, that this announcement with Qualcomm is a VERY "big deal?"

If Certicom's goal is to reach OEM's like Motorola, 3Com, Nokia etc.(and especially the phone market), then shouldn't Qualcomm be considered a major coup? Granted, no details were forthcoming (per Qualcomm's request), but in the Deck SHfn Interview he reiterated that "wireless will continue to be a MAJOR growth area for us." In addition, Deck mentioned the company's partership with Motorola, and that Certicom "works with a number of companies on chip design." This is right up Qualcomm's alley.

Maybe I am reading too much in to his comments, but is it even possible that Qualcomm is working with Certicom to embed ECC into their chipsets? CDMA technology will rule the world one day, and maybe Certicom right along with them! Please set me straight if I'm way off base.
