WIZ makes the top five on the CDNX again with a nice gain: Friday December 17 5:24 PM ET Canadian Venture Exchange closed higher VANCOUVER (CP) - Prices were mixed in heavy trading Friday on the Canadian Venture Exchange. Volume at 2 p.m. PT was 52.4 million shares. Advancing issues led declines 307 to 267 while 679 stocks were unchanged. The CDNX index stood at 2,184.70 up 26.24 points. Among the most active companies, Modus Energy Industries Ltd. rose $0.15 to $0.35, WSI Interactive Corp (OTC BB:WIZZF.OB - news). $0.06 to $0.55; Unique Broadband Systems Ltd. fell $0.12 to $3.48, Linmor Inc. $0.04 to $1.34. © The Canadian Press, 1999
