The DHCP stuff does feel a little squishy. So, I will aspire towards static addresses. I think I had static half-done at one point, but elected to eliminate the hub first.

One of my runs might be 25 feet, but nothing longer. The static doesn't look that difficult anyway. If I'm not careful I might end up understanding some of this stuff. <g>
