I was up in the shower, and for some reason remembered something my mother said. When I was about seventeen or eighteen. Telling, it was. Or affective?

I was in the kitchen, or someplace, by accident, and we were new in the neighborhood, and the visiting woman was in the living room with my mum, and visiting dignitary lady had two kind-of yummy daughters, I had met earlier, and their mom asked something like, uhm the subject was ME, she asked, my mom, (sorry about this paragraph) ~ she asked,

"Do girls like him?"

[I can see several motives for this question, but I don't think she was worried about my happiness.]

My mom said, "They seem to, but I can't understand why."
