4.3 miles is a lot of miles, unless you have very long legs, or are not too stout, or haven't been procrastinating as much as you suggest.

To continue with the rational analysis of procrastination, if we may, one thing that occurs to me is that we may have different tolerance levels for procrastination. In AA there is the concept of a "high bottom," an alcoholic who "hits bottom" without having to lie in the gutter, bereft and covered with ooze, in order to realize that it's time to stop drinking. Maybe you are a high bottom procrastinator?
