Chris: My oh my! You certainly deserve better on your new picks.

Although I can't top that story, I have had a few sizeable losses. One of my biggest losses was not in stocks but collectibles. I had collected sports cards (many in mint condition) since I was a child and sold almost all 6000 of them for about $4000 in 1986. Today that collection is worth several hundered thousand.

I still like STT but it's hard to know when
these mining stocks will pick up. It certainly looks like one of the better choices.
