<<and if we hit $175 by April, I will sell all, in anticipation of the usual summer drop>>

An alternative you might want to explore with your broker is to write covered calls against your long position over the summer instead of giving up your stock and taking the risk of missing an upside move. I wrote calls against half my position at a $90 strike price and pocketed $325 per 100 share contract for today's expiration. It's a good way to keep your basis intact and score some additional funds for diversification or reinvestment in AOL. I know the good Doctor on this thread has done this quite well. Best of luck to you and congrats for hanging in for the recovery. I got spooked out in August and am still kicking myself for having to get back in at a much higher basis. Live and learn. Best of luck to you.
