Yes, of course.

My brother-in-law is a nurse, who works in a hospice, taking care of dying people, most of whom have incurable cancer. Once, when we were on vacation, he and I started talking about it, while floating in the ocean. We were talking about narcotics, and how there is such a resistance to giving people narcotics, even when they are dying. He started to tell me how the line between what will kill pain, and what will kill the patient, is so fine . . . . but I interrupted him, because I was afraid of what he would say next.
