Weird day today.
Started out with Mytrack not working. I do have Etrade Pulse for Platinum customers, but I'm not really all that comfortable with it. So anyway, I ended up calling them (Mytrack) about 3 times:
8:20 a.m.-----"Do you folks have a connection problem?", I asked.
"It should be up in 5 minutes", she responded.
I waited 5 minutes, then called back (I timed it right down to the second).
8:25 a.m.-----"Are you still having problems?", I kindly asked. (although I'm feeling that with the weather so nice, a round of golf is looking rather inviting at this time).
"It should be up in 5 minutes, sorry for the inconvenience sir", she responded.
Tick tick tick (10 minutes passes)
I call back....
8:35 a.m.-------"Uh, it's been at least 10 minutes, are you sure it will be up soon?", I asked with a loud tone in my voice.
"Yes sir, it should be up within a "few" minutes.", she responded kindly.
Well, lucky for them it was up within 3 minutes after that last phone call otherwise my barber wouldn't have had to do very much on my next visit to him, if you know what I mean.
Then, after getting Mytrack up and running, I figured I would be set for a heck of a morning only to find that nothing was really moving.
but then.............
Lunchtime came rolling around and all of the sudden things started to change for the better.
11:58 a.m. CST, I see a PR about a strong buy rating on ETNT and my luck has suddenly changed for the better. I have quickly forgotten about the Mytrack disaster early in the morning.
I'm able to pick up cheap shares of PNEC at 1.25.
PFCK is making major moves.
PAYV is holding nice and steady.
Then........
2:40 p.m. ------The lights went out! Mytrade not working. Etrade is slow, Preferred....nothing. I ask around. My buddies on AOL IM are having problems. At this point, I'm thinking government conspiracy, although not on quite the same level as the JFK assasination.
Oh well, another day in the books. |
