hdl, Mentions Dell as being bought for free as Dell.com is valued at market cap of Dell. This can't be. If it was, it would just mean Dell.com was insanely valued. That's the point. many of the .com companies are insanely valued. For an example, look at the valuation of NETA (which owns a large stake in MCAF). Perhaps the biggest mystery is how anybody could rationally accept the valuations of companies like AMZN or YHOO. But if suspend reason and you apply those valuations to Dell.com you see what Forbes is talking about. Happy Holidays, CTC
