I appreciate your knowledge and comments. It is of critical importance to stock holders to gain some knowledge of the intermediate and long-term (5+ years) because all currently overpriced growth stocks (P/E = 100+) will collapse as soon as CEPSGR slows down, as they must when markets saturate. The internet (why does SI make this red?) space appears to have many years of very rapid growth (3% of people on earth are on line), so Cisco can expect to grow even faster within its space. Local and long-distance voice are growing much more slowly than data and can easily become almost valueless. If local networks become completely accessible to competitors at cost plus 12% who would want a local net? If GBLX owns ropes of dark fiber everywhere it can control the LD V&D rates. I think most telco's are forced to add business and increase efficiency. They must have the lowest cost and most reliable equipment, and must be prepared to pay for it, even if they don't like the vendor.
