Chris,

I respectfully disagree that P&D requires some sort of insider connection, free shares, etc. It just involves lying about the stock's prospects to a wide audience.

Example: I run an email newsletter. I buy into a stock that's on the floor, running, doesn't matter -- for $1.

As the stock spikes, I turn up the heat. I put out several alerts that say I think the stock is going to $10, when all I want is a quick double and I'm outa there.

It doubles, I'm out, and two days later it's at .75. Everyone who believed my lie is holding a POS bought at $1.50 and up.

I think it's the spamming and lying and getting out long before you said you would that makes it a P&D.

Bud
