OT Nice, Jim; I had read a similar longer piece in the WSJ, which -umn- brought to light that there is a congressman agitating for "clear sky" legislation. Something about limiting the wattage of outdoor illumination, so it doesn't drown out the celestial show & cut people off from a connection to the whatever you want to call it (sublime? ridiculous?) In terms of legislation, I think I'll settle for ridiculously sublime!

Just how many people this will put out of work, to enable upscale aesthetes to do some stargazing, happily doesn't seem to be an issue (yet). Enter, the market. Nolo contendere.
